Kristen Kauke

Kristen Kauke began her career as a Clinical Social Worker in 1999, after earning her Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Kristen works with ages 12 through adult.  She provides individual and family support.  Additionally, she facilitates a weekly process group for high school aged students.  In an effort to promote mental health awareness, she is a Mental Health First Aid instructor and established the St. Charles Regional Effort of Campaign to Change Direction. This initiative strives to reinforce mental health as having equal value to physical health, to teach recognition of signs of emotional distress, and to encourage all to care for their mental wellbeing. Kristen was honored as one of Kane County's 2016 Women of Distinction for her clinical work at Creekwood Associates and leading efforts in creating the St. Charles Regional Effort of Campaign to Change Direction, as well as other volunteer endeavors that serve youth and families in the community.   Beyond the office, Kristen has presented nationally and written on the topics of coping with anxiety and resolving conflict within relationships, as well as penned three books.  Kristen is also a registered yoga teacher, and teaches classes weekly at Prana Yoga Center in Geneva. At Prana, Kristen occasionally hosts workshops that support both yoga and emotional wellness.  She lives with her husband and two sons in St. Charles, IL.   Kristen lives with food allergies to peanut and soy, and both of her sons have fatal food allergies.
