Jack Yonover was diagnosed with an allergy to tree nuts at the age of ten. He was very frustrated by what he describes as the transition from a “regular kid” to “the kid with the food allergy” and how that impacted all aspects of his life. Rather than sitting around and being frustrated by other people’s ignorance of the subject, he made it his mission to change the way the world understands and perceives food allergies, and knew a documentary film would be the way to do that.
When he is not making movies or flying his drone, Jack enjoys fantasy football, running Cross Country, and is a die-hard Indianapolis Colts fan. Jack also enjoys reading, creative writing, snowskiing and waterskiing. He is a freshman at New Trier High School in the suburbs of Chicago, where he co-hosts a weekly radio show about filmmaking and all things media.
