The law protects the right of people with food allergies to live in the world– to play, to travel, to work, and to be included. In this session, Mary will explain the rights of people with food allergies and introduce teens who have had the courage to stand up for theirs.

Mary Vargas is a founding partner at Stein & Vargas, LLP, a nationwide civil rights law firm with a special interest in ensuring equal access for individuals with food allergies. She litigates important disability rights cases throughout the United States in both federal and state courts. Mary is a 1998 Skadden Fellow , a 1994 Truman Scholar, and a graduate of the University Connecticut School of Law.
