The old adage "you are what you eat" represents an interesting duality for people suffering from food allergies. On one hand, dietary differences can make people feel singled out and lead to bullying and low self esteem. On the other hand, these differences can open young people up to unusual culinary experiences, which could be seen as something truly special! In this talk, Katherine will encourage young people to embrace their unique experiences and use them to motivate others to continue the chain of inspiration and education in the growing food allergy awareness community.
