Most of the conversation around food allergies tends to focus on the negative side of things, and for people who at at risk for life-threatening reactions, it may seem like there could not possibly be anything positive about it. In this talk, however, Susie will discuss how the skills that people develop through dealing with food allergies –like commitment and perseverance– are also highly predictive of success. This presentation will provide food allergic teens with a whole new perspective on themselves and their gifts!
