Traveling with Food Allergies

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Andrea, Noah, and Katie all have experience traveling domestically and internationally with food allergies. Their talks will cover navigating foreign terrain with caution, especially without the presence and assistance of parents. Key points will include critical advice for taking preemtive and proactive protective measures, like locating nearby hospitals and carrying information cards detailing allergies in the local language.

Andrea will also speak in depth about questions to ask during college visits and how to use college visits as a practice run for the real thing. She will explain how getting to know the campus nutritionist and finding out where the closest grocery stores are can make college with food allergies much less daunting.
