Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Sophia and Jack plan to give words of encouragement to high school -bound middle schoolers, who are suffering from food allergies. They will specifically discuss methods for self-inclusion when participating in activities that are very common, but can be extremely challenging for children with food allergies, like playing sports and eating out in groups. Their talk will give tips for staying safe and feeling included when making food choices as a teenager.

Brett's talk will delve into the many questions that plague a high school student with food allergies, including what to eat at school, during school functions, and on school trips. Following his lecture, he will open up for specific questions from audience members, providing information for both students to empower and protect themselves, as well as for parents to support their children.
